Getting started

Yes. MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and NinjaTrader 8 each have their own free 7-day trial on one trading account: the first one that connects with your key. No card. Your 7 days start when SizeOps first connects with your trading account.
As many as you need, up to 5, on any platform: MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or NinjaTrader 8. Your first account is $12 a month and each extra one is $6. Need more than 5? Message us.
No. You pay for seats, not for accounts. Got a new account number, a new broker or a fresh demo? Switch your seat to it on your dashboard (you get +1 switch a week). Only pay more if you want more accounts running at the same time: add a seat and the price updates as you pick.

Yes. On Licenses, press ⇄ on the account: it keeps working until the next account connects with your key, which takes its seat, and the switch is used then. Or press ✕ to remove one for free: a new account in that seat uses a switch, putting back the one you just removed doesn't. You get 1 switch per account on your plan and 1 more every week, up to that number. Need more? Message us.
Nothing gets charged. We never had your card. Like it? Pick monthly or yearly. Don't? Just remove it.
Trading with SizeOps
your trade. our maths.- Risk in money: your balance × your risk %, or a fixed amount.
- Stop distance: in pips for forex, points for index CFDs and futures, a dollar move for gold.
- Value per lot (or per contract) for that distance.
- Commission per lot, round trip: it's paid even when the stop is hit.
- Spread: a Buy adds it, a Sell adds nothing. A buy fills at the Ask; SizeOps on the platform measures from the live Ask, which comes to the same thing.
- Size = risk ÷ cost per lot, rounded down to 0.01 lot or whole contracts, never up. If even the smallest size is over your risk, it says "risk too low".
The free calculators use the standard contract specs shown on each page; brokers can differ, so check yours. SizeOps reads them from your broker on MetaTrader 4 and 5, and from NinjaTrader on NT8.
Not included: slippage, price gaps, and swaps or overnight fees.
Example, gold (1 lot = 100 oz), a Buy: $10,000 × 1% = $100. ($3.00 stop + $0.30 spread) × $100 + $7.00 commission = $337.00 a lot. $100 ÷ $337.00 = 0.297, rounded down to 0.29 lots, a real risk of $97.73. As a Sell: $307.00 a lot, 0.32 lots, $98.24.
Only your Journal does. It's private to you; our team looks only when you ask us for help. The license check sends six things: your key, account number, broker name, broker server, platform and SizeOps version. With the Journal on (it's on by default), SizeOps also sends your trades to your Journal as they happen. Switch it off for any account in Journal settings. Also your account balance, and on MetaTrader your deposits and withdrawals. Never your broker passwords. The full list is in our Privacy policy →
MetaTrader 4 and 5
Any MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 account number. Your plan's accounts work on any platform, so mix them with NinjaTrader 8 any way. Any PC works: SizeOps follows your account, not your computer.
SizeOps checks your license with sizeops.com, and MetaTrader only lets an EA reach the websites you allow: add https://sizeops.com once under Tools → Options. Step by step in the setup guide →
Copy SizeOps into MQL5\Experts (MQL4\Experts on MetaTrader 4), allow https://sizeops.com in WebRequest, drop it on a chart and paste your key: the account registers itself the first time it connects. Open the setup guide →

NinjaTrader 8
Any NinjaTrader 8 account name, exactly as the Name column shows it. Your plan's accounts work on any platform, mixed with MetaTrader 4 and 5 any way. Any PC works.

Buying and refunds
try first. buy later.By card on Stripe's secure page, monthly or yearly, and it renews by itself. Cancel any time; it keeps working until the end of what you paid.
Cancel any time and you won't be charged again; we don't refund the month or year you're in. That's what the free trial is for: 7 days on your own trading account, before you pay. The details are in the Refund policy →
