the fine print, in plain words.
Terms of Service
1. About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and SizeOps ("we"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or buying a license or a plan, you accept them, together with the Privacy page, the Refund policy and the Risk disclosure. You must be 18 or over.
2. Your license and your key
- SizeOps is one plan for all its platforms: MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and NinjaTrader 8. Your plan lets you use SizeOps on any of them.
- You pick how many trading accounts your plan runs at a time, from 1 up to the most one plan holds (shown when you buy), on any of the supported platforms, mixed any way you like. The first account is the full price; each one after it costs less. On any computer. Demo and evaluation accounts count toward your account limit. SizeOps follows trading accounts, not computers.
- You pay with a plan: Monthly or Yearly. Paid by card, it renews until you cancel; paid with PromptPay or crypto, you pay each time and nothing renews (section 8).
- Lifetime means no subscription and no end date: your license works for as long as SizeOps is on sale and maintained, with every future update and version included.
- With a monthly or yearly plan, your license works while your plan is paid, with every update included.
- It's personal: it's for you, and you can't pass it on to someone else.
- Your licenses are tied to the email of your account, which can't be changed. A license can't be moved to another email.
- You get the compiled program and your key. The source code isn't part of the license.
- You get one key, your SizeOps key. It works for everything you own, on every platform, and it stays the same when you buy, upgrade or change plans.
- Copy your key from your account or our email and paste it into SizeOps. Capital letters, spaces and dashes don't matter. Keys look like SIZE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
- Keep your key private. If you think someone else has it, make a new one in your account (Reset key). Your old key stops working right away, on every platform. Paste the new key into SizeOps; until you do, SizeOps opens no new trades there. Your licenses, plans, trading accounts and switches stay.
3. Accounts and switches
- "At a time" means you can change which trading account SizeOps runs on. A new broker or a new account doesn't need a new license. Each trading account counts as one, whatever its platform: its platform is the one it connects from.
- Each account on your plan takes a free seat the first time it connects with your key. You can switch accounts as described in your account.
- Each slot's first account is free. Removing an account is free: it stops at its next license check, and trades already open on it are still managed. Putting back the account you just removed is free; a different account in a slot that has been used before uses one switch, counted when it first connects to SizeOps.
- Switching to another account uses one switch. The switch is used only when the new account first connects to SizeOps: until then the old account keeps working, and you can cancel without using anything. A new account that doesn't connect within 7 days is dropped, and nothing is used. New accounts can wait in all your free slots at once; one switch can wait at a time.
- A license has as many switches as it has slots for trading accounts. Used switches come back one at a time, one each week, up to that number.
- You can add trading accounts to a license later, or go to fewer (sections 7 and 8); your accounts and key stay the same. When a license goes to fewer accounts, you pick the accounts that stay, and all of them keep working until then.
4. What you may not do
- Reverse engineer, decompile, change or rebuild the program.
- Get around the license check or its limits.
- Share, copy for anyone else, resell, rent, sublicense or publish the program, your license key, or passes we give you.
5. Sharing and misuse
Sharing, reselling or distributing a license key to third parties may result in the license being suspended or terminated, without a refund.
6. Free trial
- Each platform (MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 and NinjaTrader 8) has its own free 7-day trial of the full program. No card is needed. You need an account on this website with a confirmed email.
- A free trial opens one seat on the platform you pick. The first account on that platform that connects to SizeOps with your key takes it, for 7 days. You can switch it to another account on that platform once. Each trading account can have one free trial per platform.
- One trial per platform per email address, and one trial per trading account, ever, whatever email is used. An earlier MetaTrader trial (one trial for MT4 and MT5 together) counts as both your MT4 and your MT5 trial. A platform that is or was on your plan counts as tried. We recognise an account by a one-way code (see Privacy).
- When a trial ends, it pauses: SizeOps opens no new trades on its trading account, and keeps managing trades that are already open. Nothing is charged, and a trial never turns into a paid plan by itself. Pick a plan any time: the same key works again, and your trial's trading account moves onto your plan.
- Throwaway email addresses can't be used.
7. Buying
- Prices are in US dollars and final: no tax is added at checkout. Your total, and for a plan how often it's charged, is shown before you pay.
- Card plans are charged in US dollars, or in local currency where offered; a local-currency plan renews at the price shown when you bought it. Crypto payments are priced in US dollars, and PromptPay payments are in local currency. The exact amount is shown before you pay.
- One checkout is for one way of paying: monthly or yearly.
- You can have one plan at a time, with one billing period. It covers every supported platform.
- Card: we sell the license or plan to you; our card payment processor takes the payments, renewals included. Card works for monthly and yearly. Your card statement shows SIZEOPS.
- PromptPay and crypto: you pay for one month or one year at a time; nothing renews by itself (section 8).
- Your license or plan starts once the payment is confirmed.
- We can't sell to countries our payment providers don't serve or where the law doesn't allow it.
- Discount codes, from a friend's invite or from one of our affiliate partners, work only on your first purchase: once you've paid us anything, even a payment refunded later, a code no longer applies, also if you cancel and come back later. A free trial isn't a purchase. The discount applies to the first 6 payments of a monthly plan, or the first payment of a yearly plan. One code per checkout. If you change to a bigger plan while your discount runs, the difference you pay is worked out from the discounted prices. If you move from monthly to yearly while your 6 months are running, your first yearly payment gets the discount instead, and then it ends. A friend's code works while its owner has a paid license.
8. Monthly and yearly plans
- How it renews. A monthly or yearly plan renews by itself at the end of each month or year, until you cancel. We charge the price shown at checkout, to the card you paid with. Before you pay, checkout shows the price, how often you're charged, the date of the next payment, and any discount and how long it lasts.
- Reminder. For a yearly plan, we email you about 7 days before each renewal, with the date and the amount.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time in your account on this website. You don't need to write to us. Your license keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, then it pauses. You won't be charged again. Until that day, you can undo the cancel.
- No partial refunds. We don't refund the part of a month or year that's left when you cancel or change your plan, unless the law requires it. See the Refund policy.
- Deleting your account stops your plan at once, and the rest of the period isn't refunded. Before you delete it, we warn you and offer to cancel the plan instead, so you can keep using it until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a payment fails. We email you, and our payment processor tries again for up to 2 weeks. Your license keeps working during that time. A payment made in those 2 weeks pays for the period from the original renewal date, so your renewal date doesn't move. If it still isn't paid after 2 weeks, the plan ends and your license pauses. You can pay later: that starts a new plan from the day you pay, on the same key, and you aren't charged for the time it was paused.
- Card confirmations. Some banks ask you to confirm a renewal payment. We email you a link. Until you confirm it, the payment counts as failed.
- While a license is paused, it keeps your key, your trading accounts, your switches and your settings. SizeOps opens no new trades, and keeps managing trades that are already open. When you pay, it works again.
- Changing your plan. You change your plan by picking a new whole plan in your account, from the same choices as at checkout: how many trading accounts, monthly or yearly.
- A bigger plan (more trading accounts, or yearly instead of monthly) starts right away, once the payment for the difference goes through. You pay the difference for the time left in the current period. If the difference is less than the smallest card payment, nothing is charged then: the plan starts right away and the difference is added to your next renewal.
- Monthly to yearly starts a new yearly period that day. The unused part of your month is taken off your first yearly payment.
- A smaller plan (fewer trading accounts, or monthly instead of yearly) starts at your next renewal. Until then you keep what you have. With fewer accounts, you pick the trading accounts that stay.
- The amount, and when the change starts, are shown before you confirm.
- Plans paid each time (PromptPay, crypto). You pay for one month or one year at a time; it doesn't renew by itself. We email you about 7 days and 1 day before the end. If it isn't paid by the end, your license keeps working for 2 more weeks, then it pauses until you pay. A payment continues from the end of the period you paid for; after a pause, it starts a new period from the day you pay. A bigger plan: you pay the difference for the rest of the period now (if that's less than the smallest payment that way of paying allows, the plan starts right away and the difference is added to your next payment). A smaller plan starts at your next payment. A plan paid each time can move to card in your account; the card plan starts when the period you've paid for ends. There's nothing to cancel: if you don't pay, it ends.
- Price changes. If we change the price of your plan, we email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. It starts at your first renewal after that. If you don't want it, cancel before then.
9. Refunds
Refunds: see our Refund policy, which is part of these Terms.
10. License check and updates
- SizeOps checks your license with our server. Privacy lists exactly what a check sends.
- On MetaTrader, you allow our web address in the platform's WebRequest settings. The install steps show how.
- Updates of MetaTrader (MetaQuotes) or NinjaTrader can break things. We fix them with reasonable effort, but can't promise how fast.
11. Support and email
Support is by email at support@sizeops.com, with reasonable effort. We aim to reply within 1 business day. We send your key, receipts, renewal reminders and important notices by email; we can't guarantee every email arrives, so please check your spam folder. Your plan and its renewal date are always in your account on this website.
12. Your trading is your responsibility
SizeOps is a tool: it sizes and manages trades by the settings you choose. It doesn't trade for you and doesn't give trading or financial advice. Trading carries risk, and you can lose money. Please read the Risk disclosure.
SizeOps sizes your position so the planned loss at your stop doesn't exceed the risk you set. Your actual loss can still be larger: spread widening, slippage, price gaps (news, weekends), commissions and swaps, delayed or rejected orders, and platform or connection problems can all make it impossible to exit at your stop.
13. Our responsibility
SizeOps is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for trading losses, lost profits or indirect damage, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for the product concerned in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms takes away rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be taken away.
14. Reviews
We show reviews whatever their rating; we only leave out abuse, personal data, links or off-topic posts.
15. Changes and transfer
- We may update these terms, and we email you before a change that matters for you applies.
- You can't transfer your license.
- Our affiliate program has its own Affiliate terms.
